BOARD OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
By the grace
of God’s this has been an exciting and highly successful school year thanks to a
wonderful staff of teachers and other support volunteers.
Class attendance at all levels increased over the previous year. Our
preschool is a model program.
Openings for the fall classes are nearly full already.
We started a Kindergarten age Sunday school this school year with an
enrollment of 4 to 6 students. A youth Bible study class started up since the
beginning of the year. Other Sunday
school classes were also well attended.
Sunday adult Bible study attendance almost doubled from the previous
year.
Last year’s VBS was well attended and lots of fun. Please
help up to make our VBS an event that our neighborhood children look forward to
attending each year. Consider
helping us to make this happen by volunteering.

The glorious event of Easter
Sunday has passed, but we are continuing with the Easter story by discussing how
Jesus appeared to his disciples after he rose again.
The children are learning that even though Jesus is about to return to
Heaven, there is work he wants us to continue doing on Earth.
Sunday School will continue through May 25.
